PRINCESS DIANA

THE LOVELY YOUNG GIRL

A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Its loveliness increases.
It will never pass into nothingness.

THE PRINCESS OF THE WORLD

A confident self-assured role model
for millions of women around the world.

THE ACTIVE YOUNG WOMAN

Laughter and fun were signal pleasures
for this exceptional woman who loved life
and genuinely cared about people.

THE DAZZLING YOUNG WOMAN

She walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes.

ENGLAND'S FAIREST FLOWER

If there is any good that I can do
Or any kindness I can show,
Let me do it now
For I shall not pass this way again.

Her Royal Highness
PRINCESS DIANA SPENCER WINDSOR
died at Four O'Clock A.M.
on this Thirty-First day of August
in the Year of our Lord
Nineteen Hundred Ninety Seven.

Princess Diana was barely thirty-six years old when her precious life was taken in a violent automobile accident in the city of Paris, France.

THE WORLD
WILL NEVER KNOW
A GREATER LOSS!

Princess Diana was one of a kind. She had the face of an angel with a genuinely compassionate heart. She was a commoner, but she was not common. She cared about people and she became their adored champion!
Princess Diana was revered as

THE PRINCESS OF THE WORLD FAMILY!

THE ENTIRE WORLD BECAME HER REALM!

Diana was part reality and part myth, and she captured the heart and the imagination of the entire world with her charm. She became my Queen, and I, her American subject from the very first. I lost a dear friend today, and I am comforted solely
by knowledge of the good fortune that
she happened in my lifetime.

Sarah Ban Breathnach
puts our feelings into words as she writes~

Princess Diana lavished affection
on everyone she met.
She was really a force of nature.
The only pain she ever caused
was when she left us.

PRINCESS DIANA IS DEAD!

LONG LIVE THE GREATEST QUEEN OF ENGLAND!

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN OF HEARTS!

CANDLE IN THE WIND
By Elton John

Goodbye England's Rose
May you ever grow in our heart,
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart.

You called out to our country
You whispered to those in pain,
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name.

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind,
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain is setting in.

And your footsteps will always fall here
Among England's greenest hills,
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever will.

Loveliness we have lost
These empty days without your smile,
This torch we will always carry
For our nation's golden child.

And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears,
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years.

Goodbye England's Rose
From a country lost without your glow,
Who will miss the wings of your compassion
More than you will ever know.

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind,
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain is setting in.

NOTE: I compiled these verses by listening to
Mr. Elton John singing at
Princess Diana's funeral service.
My apologies for any mistakes
in representing his lyrics.
